A LITTLE HELP

Your Gmail. Your WhatsApp.

Start with a Google account and the WhatsApp number you want to pair. Mail on Chat is currently in testing.

1. Connect Gmail

Sign in with Google and review the requested read and send permissions. If Google says access is blocked because the app is in testing, your account must be an approved test user before you can continue.

2. Pair WhatsApp

Open “Connect WhatsApp” in the inbox. Send the six-digit pairing code to the business number shown there. Codes expire; if yours no longer works, generate a new one from the app. Keep pairing codes private.

3. Start a conversation

Send hi for the menu or inbox for recent mail. Use the compose and reply options to write an email. Check the recipient and message before confirming a send. AI drafts can contain mistakes.

Reconnect an expired session

If Gmail access expires, reconnect with Google using the same account. Your existing WhatsApp pairing can remain in place.

Disconnect or stop Gmail access

Use the disconnect control in the app to unlink WhatsApp. To revoke Gmail access, open Google account connections, select Mail on Chat, and remove its access. Signing out alone does not revoke the Gmail connection.

About the service

Mail on Chat is an independent tool that connects Gmail and WhatsApp. It is not a Google or Meta product. Read how data is processed before connecting an inbox.
